Market wrap - 4:10

The market gapped up big this morning rising to almost 90 points on the Dow, only to give much of it back during the day. The pump monkeys on CNBC, for the 3rd straight day found nothing more important to talk to than the Bernanke confirmations. While reporting all day his confirmation seems to be a lock, they cited this as the reason for last weeks sell off and today's rebound. Other than that it was a boring day, low volume, and probably waiting on the Apple results around 4:30. Others to watch is Texas Instruments out any time, with Amgen just reporting. They were light on EPS but trading flat at this time. Once the earnings report can be read and the conference call, we really don't know.
